STEPS: To create ad hoc wireless network

Open your Network and Sharing Center in windows 7.

Then click on Set up a new connection or network .

then Select Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network .

Then Read the instructions carefully , and click on Next .

Enter any name you want in Network name box (for eg.- I use "any name") .

then set your security type to WAP-2 ,in fact it is set by default.

Enter the password you want to set to your private network in Security key Tab.

Chech the box in front of Save this network , if you want to use in future also.

then finally click on Next .

It shows your wireless network name & security key in dots.

Click on Close .

STEPS: To Set Up Wireless Ad Hoc Internet Connection In Windows 8

Launch an elevated command prompt under Windows 8 (one with administrator privileges).

Run the following command to verify that your network interface supports virtualization:

netsh wlan show drivers

If Hosted network supported says Yes, you’re all set. Otherwise, you need to upgrade your hardware, if the software update doesn’t fix it.

Now, set up the ad hoc wireless network using this command. Replace the modernhackerss in markup tags with your own choices.
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=modernhackerss key=modernhackerss

Until now, your hosted network has been created. Now, you need to start it. Use the command below:
netsh wlan start hostednetwork

You’re all set, with just one thing remaining. If it’s not already enabled, you need to allow Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) for your currently-active internet connection. Simply head over to Network & Sharing Center, and in the properties for the current internet connection, enable ICS. Make sure to select the ad hoc connection under Home networking connection.

Now you can connect any device to the internet using the ad hoc wireless network with internet connection sharing that you just created on your Windows 8 PC

How to connect to ad hoc network to start file sharing

In you Internet networks it shows the ad hoc network name which allows file sharing as i allows so it shows modernhackerss

Connect the ad hoc network by filling the ad hoc security key password.

Then go to RUN or to open RUN simply press Windows key + R.

Type the ip address of the main laptop on which ad hoc network works and click OK.

It may asks for user name & password , you have to enter here username & password of your main ad hoc laptop .

IP settings to participate in Files sharing on wireless network in windows 7

Its Interesting to learn about file sharing via a common wireless network at comparable speed with the USB drive. but before we are able to share files on the network, we have to make some changes in IPv4 settings so that both laptops that want to be share data are in same type of IPv4 addresses. so in this post i gonna show you how to make IPv4 settings in your all laptops that want to participate in file sharing process.

STEPS: To do IPv4 settings to able it to participate in file sharing process.

Open your Network and Sharing Center in windows 7.

Then click on your connected connection in front of Connections Tab .

then lick on Properties .

Then Select Internet protocol version 4(TCP/IPv4) and click on Properties .

Click on Use the following IP address:

Then Enter The IP address in IP address box , In home or offices every Internet has thier own default gateways , in most cases it is 192.168.0.1 by default, but our default gateway is 172.16.0.1 because we are in College and our college provide us this gateway. i show you settings related to my gateway in next step but you can similarly aplly these settings to your own gateway. the gateway is very important because first two columns of IP address is same as that of your default gateway.

but be in mind that first three columns(for eg:_ in this 172.16.20 ) is same on all laptops because it defines all laptops IP address in Same class,and the remaing coloumn where i use 15, you must have to use diffrent number (for eg:- 16. 17 or 18 etc) on every another laptop to give unique IP identity to every user.

Then enter Subnet mask as 255.255.0.0 it is same in most cases and mostly its gets automatically filled when you enter your IP address.

Then enter your default gateway as i enter 172.16.0.1 but in most case by default it is 192.168.0.1 .

Click on Use the following DNS server addresses:

Then enter your preffered DNS server as i enter 8.8.8.8 and you can find your own in your router settings which gets opened by insterting your default gateway in browser`s URL bar.

then finally click on OK .

Congrats... You have succefully make settings to your IPv4 for make it able to file sharing.

To capitalize the first letter of each word and leave the other letters lowercase, click Capitalize Each Word.

To shift between two case views (for example, to shift between Capitalize Each Word and the opposite, cAPITALIZE eACH wORD), click tOGGLE cASE.

Tip: Any text that is in all uppercase or lowercase can be changed by using the shortcut key Shift + F3. Below are the exact steps on how to do this in Microsoft Word.

Highlight all the text you want to change from uppercase or lowercase.

Hold down the Shift key and while holding down the Shift key press F3.

Each time you press the F3 key while holding down the Shift it will switch that text from proper case (first-letter uppercased and the rest lowercased), all uppercase, and all lowercase.

STEPS: TO create Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 Recovery Drive

Press Windows key + W , to access search in settings

Type Recovery in search bar and select Create a recovery drive.

Note: Tap or click Yes if you're prompted with a User Account Control question about the Recovery Media Creator program.

Connect the flash drive that you plan on using as the Windows 8 Recovery Drive.

Check the Copy the recovery partition from the PC to the recovery drive checkbox if it's available.

Tap or click on the Next button.

Wait while Recovery Drive Creator searches for drives available to be used as a Recovery Drive.

On the Select the USB flash drive screen, choose the drive letter that corresponds to the flash drive you want to use as a Windows 8 Recovery Drive.

Tap or click on the Next button.

Tap or click on the Create button to begin the Recovery Drive creation process.

Important: Please take note of the warning on this screen: Everything on the drive will be deleted. If you have any personal files on this drive, make sure you've backed up the files.

Wait while Windows 8 creates the Recovery Drive, which involves formatting the flash drive and then copying the necessary files to it.

Tap or click on the Finish button.

How To Access Advanced Startup Options in Windows 8 or 8.1

Windows 8 is much popular Microsoft`s platform for both home users and for professional users. it has faster booting process then all other operating systems. Sometimes it gets corrupted or we want to restore it then we may to access its Advanced Startup Options , and most of us don`t know how to access the Advanced Startup Options . In this tutorial i will teach you how to access the Advanced Startup Options.

Steps: To access Advanced Startup Options in Windows 8 or windows 8.1

There are six different ways to do so.

If Windows 8 starts normally: Use any method, but 1, 2, or 3 will be easiest.

If Windows 8 does not start: Use method 4, 5, or 6. Method 1 will also work if you can at least get to the Windows 8 logon screen

Method 1: SHIFT + Restart

Hold down either SHIFT key while tapping or clicking on Restart, available from any Power icon.

Wait while the Advanced Startup Options menu opens.

Note: This method does not seem to work with the on-screen keyboard. You'll need to have a physical keyboard connected to your computer or device to open the Advanced Startup Options menu this way.

Method 2: PC Settings

Swipe from the right to open the charms bar.
TIP: If you have a keyboard, use WIN+I and then skip to Step 3.

Tap or click on Settings.

Tap or click on Change PC settings at the bottom of the charms bar.

Choose Update and recovery from the list of options on the left of the PC settings window.
Note:Prior to Windows 8.1, choose General instead and then skip to Step 6.

Choose Recovery.

Locate Advanced startup, at the bottom of the list of options on your right.

Tap or click on Restart now.

Wait through the Please wait message until Advanced Startup Options opens.

Method 3: Shutdown Command

Open Command Prompt in Windows 8.

or either press Windows key + R and type CMD and press enter.

NOTE:Save any open files before executing this command or you'll lose any changes you've made since your last save.

To the You're about to be signed off message that appears a few seconds later, tap or click on the Close button.

After several seconds, during which nothing seems to be happening, Windows 8 will then close and you'll see a Please wait message.

Wait just a few seconds more until the Advanced Startup Options menu opens.

Method 4: Boot From Your Windows 8 Installation Media

Insert a Windows 8 DVD, or a flash drive with the Windows 8 installation files on it, into your computer.

Boot from the disc or boot from the USB device, whatever your situation calls for.

From the Windows Setup screen, tap or click on Next

Tap or click on the Repair your computer link at the bottom of the window.

Advanced Startup Options will start, almost immediately.

Method 5: Boot From a Windows 8 Recovery Drive

Insert your Windows 8 Recovery Drive into a free USB port

Tip: Don't worry if you weren't proactive and never got around to creating a Recovery Drive. If you have another computer with Windows 8, or a friend with Windows 8 on his or her computer, see How To Create a Windows 8 Recovery Drive for instructions.

Boot your computer from the flash drive.

On the Choose your keyboard layout screen, tap or click on US or whatever keyboard layout you'd like to use.

Advanced Startup Options will begin instantly.

Method 6: Boot Directly to Advanced Startup Options

Start or restart your computer or device.

Choose the boot option for System Recovery, Advanced Startup, Recovery, etc.

Important: The ability to boot directly to Advanced Startup Options isn't one that's available with a traditional BIOS. Your computer will need to support UEFI and then also be configured properly to boot directly to the ASO menu.

Wait for Advanced Startup Options to begin.
